The
Model 502 Variometer is a sensitive electronic Rate-of-Climb
Indicator with 2 scales featuring very smooth action,
rapid response rate, with high accuracy at hot or
cold temperatures from sea level to 20,000 feet. The
502, has a battery holder mounted on the rear panel
for two 9-volt batteries along with a low battery
drain for maximum battery life. The front mounted
switch selects between the 2 batteries, and the 2
gains.
