The M12 Cricket is an audio indicated, climb only, temperature
compensated pocket audio vario. Originally designed
for the beginner pilot, solo unit for the purist pilot,
or as a backup for the serious pilot. The audio tone
changes in pitch when in increasing lift. Normal response
range is between 50 and 1300 FPM climb. Cricket uses
a standard 6-volt garage door transmitter battery that
is included, as well as a 2 mm lanyard.
