Blue Sky Avionics Announces New Product
Name
Sioux Falls, SD... Blue Sky Avionics, LLC announced
today that the familiar Ball products designated M57, GC2000
GCPG, and GCI, have now been named Pegasus with individual
model designations for their respected market such as; HA
(Hot Air), HG (Hang Glider), PG (Paraglider), and SP (Sailplane)
respectfully.
"I feel that the new product name Pegasus,
will be a positive marketing tool to help with product identity
and recognition," says Scott Christensen, Blue Sky Avionics'
President.
Look for more changes as existing products
are updated and new products introduced.

Blue Sky Avionics Announces New Pricing
Sioux Falls, SD... Blue Sky Avionics, LLC announces
new pricing across the entire product line. The major impact
will be focused in the M57 and associated GC product lines.
The original suggested retail price for the basic M57 core
system, with barograph option was $1,895. The new suggested
retail price is $1,500! This reduced price includes the barograph
feature, which is now standard.

New Firm Acquires Ball Varios
Sioux Falls, SD... Blue Sky Avionics, LLC has
acquired the rights to service and manufacture all current
Ball instruments. The new company, lead by President, Scott
Christensen made the acquisition January 11, 2002.
Immediate plans are to continue the production
of all current Ball models. Blue Sky, a certified FAA repair
station, will be offering repair and maintenance services
for existing units. "I am excited about the opportunity
to work closely with the sports aviation community, not only
providing them with outstanding avionics today, but to make
improvements in existing models utilizing new technology."
Christensen says.
Plans are to sell product directly and through
the establishment of an international dealer network. Also
Blue Sky Avionics offers associated product lines from other
manufacturers.

Christensen, an avid hot air balloon pilot since
1991, holds a LTA commercial rating along with a single-engine-land
airplane rating and has also logged time in gliders. He has
worked extensively in the electronic and engineering industry
for the past 21 years, and in the avionics field for the past
10 years
